This initiative is designed to alleviate the financial burden on senior veterans who require assistance in navigating the complexities of the Aid and Attendance benefit application process. Through our partnership, Patriot Angels will provide the necessary application support, while SHORE covers the associated costs, ensuring veterans receive the benefits they deserve without financial stress.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants can be a resident of any state within the United States
  • Applicants must be seniors (age 65 or above) or spouses of veterans.
  • Must already have selected a senior living or independent living community and acquired a move-in date or already reside in a community.
  • Must possess under $155,356 in liquid assets
